Boris Cao

Boris Cao is the General Manager of Harmonia’s Pan-Pacific operations and a well-known international producer. He heads areas including production, marketing, booking, ticket sales, general management and licensing. Boris is responsible for all Harmonia partnerships and programs including those with China Arts and Entertainment Group (CAEG), the largest state-owned creative enterprise in China, the Shanghai Cultural Square, the Shanghai Grand Group, the Suzhou Performing Arts Center, and the National Taichung Opera House among other preeminent organizations in Greater China. Boris is one of the founding members of the National China Musical Center and a Founding Member of the National China Musical Producer Committee (the “Broadway League” of China).

Under Boris’ leadership, Harmonia is the Greater China subagent to multiple theatrical licensing companies and author’s representatives including Concord Theatricals, Broadway Licensing, and Playscripts, facilitating licenses of plays and musicals to Chinese schools, community groups and professionals.

Most recently Boris was the leading Producer of an online series entitled ZERO STOP, a unique collaboration between The London Coliseum and The Shanghai Grand Theatre that featured performances by Sam Tutty (Dear Evan Hansen), Samantha Barks (Les Miserable), Miriam-Teak Lee (& Juliet), Arthur Darvill (Doctor Who), The All Male Gilbert & Sullivan, English National Opera, and Matthew Ball (Royal Ballet) on the stage at the London Coliseum. Boris produced other projects like Disney Gala Live In Concert, Jiage – The HipHop Dance Show, the first Chinese hip-hop dance show that brought to theatre, Paddington Bear Gets In A Jam, the first international local language, The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show China production, etc.

Also Boris has a legal degree from Boston University.
